Mechanica -- Applied Structure is the first structural analysis anddesign software tool that meets the ease-of-use and expandedfunctionality requirements of design engineers. Applied Structure isnot another finite-element analysis (FEA) program. It incorporates newtechnology, Geometric Element Analysis (GEA), which eliminates finite-element meshing, but delivers comparable or better evaluation accuracy.Using RASNA's Geometric Element Modeling (GEM), Applied Structure candefine a model with fewer and larger elements, substantially simplifyingmodeling for analysis (preprocessing).Applied Structure has automatic adaptivity, which solves to a level ofaccuracy given by the user, in just one step. Users need only input thisinformation, and the solution will converge to that level of accuracy.Applied Structure incorporates fully automated sensitivity analysis anddesign optimization.
